See if you can count how many different weapons MaxieC appears with in the turkey stuffing scene. He's found a series of YouTube videos that show you how to make replicas of various weapons out of paper, and I think he's made them all.
This blog is dedicated to taking over the world through boring everyone to death talking about the weather. Are you still here? Have I told you the story about the first time I saw a dust devil?

Cub Lake Hike
We took a nice hike in Rocky Mountain National Park on Sunday. On the way out, we had to stop for a herd of elk crossing the road.
I also discovered a horrible bug in the video editing program I use that caused it to hang when I used one of the effects filters that I had not used before. I filed a bug report.

Grog on a Newly Stained Deck
I mistakenly call the drink a Hot Toddy, but it's actually an American Grog. Silly me.

Partly Cloudy with Pain
I learned last night that YouTube has a 15-minute video limit unless you've "verified" your account by providing a cell phone number that they can text with a code and that you text back. How this verifies anything, I do not know. But, since my Google account is attached to an Android phone, they already have my phone number, so what the hell?
Prior to discovering that, though, I decided I'd use a video-editing program I downloaded like a year ago to cut the video down from it's original 16+ minutes. This will be my first edited weather video, and thus its excitement density will be much higher than usual. Don't get used to it. The editing and re-rendering process took about 2 hours. That's a lot to invests for two pageviews.
