Heating and Cooling

I have learned that on these 90+ degree days, you need to take the cover off the hot tub a bit more than an hour before you want to use it if'n you want it to be a livable temperature. Solar heating - not just for dirty hippies.

It was hot today

In the upper 90's. So hot that the hot tub got up to 109 degrees. I mostly hung out in the basement, where the A/C maintains a happy 70ish. If I were to have taken a nap, I would have needed a blanket.

I watched a lot of The Deadliest Catch on TV. It's a good show - never saw it before.
